TexpatriatedWonderful day sailing the fjords!Tripadvisor review: Private Fjord Cruise Modalen in BergenOur family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers had a wonderful day onboard the Sea More boat. Captain Martin was very friendly and hospitable. The trip was a leisurely 3.5 hour trip from Bergen through the fjords to Modalen (where we were fortunate to dock for 30 min to explore a bit and get lunch) and a 3.5 hours back for a total of 8 hours. The boat was spacious and comfortable and exactly as the pictures show. It had an indoor living room, a back patio with sun chairs and table, and the upper deck offered magnificent views in the open air. We also felt this private cruise was a good value compared to others offered with similar size vessels. While no food is provided, we could bring our own, and quite frankly I am happy to pay about $1200 less than boats that do offer lunch. It was a fantastic and memorable day and we captured many family photos. We were even able to see the waterfall in the Modalen bay up close. Our kids have a great memory of that now too. I highly recommend this company and tour. Thank you for offering it as a charter

We have always wanted to see the fjords of Bergen. After some research on the internet, we chose MS Sea More at seethefjordsbergen.com. They promised us a full-day cruise to beautiful Modalen. We boarded the boat at "Munkebryggen" in Bergen at 9.00. The weather was cloudy and calm. After an informative safety briefing, we relaxed in the comfortable lounge. The weather improved during the journey. We travelled in the fjord, past the exclusive suburbs north of Bergen. As we turned east under the Nordhordaland Bridge, the sun shone. The wide fjords and snow-capped mountains in the distance changed as we got further into the fjords. The green landscape slipped away as we walked up the spacious flybridge, where we could enjoy some delightful lefser and refreshing drinks. The fjord became increasingly narrow, and the height of the mountains increased.White streams cascaded down the steep cliffs and through the green pine forests. Small modest farms clung to the steep shoreline. Maneuvering through the inlet "Mostraumen", seeing the rock formation "The Royal Palace" and getting close to a waterfall were some of the highlights. Having a delicious lunch in the middle of the fjord and seeing the majestic landscape in quiet and safe surroundings made back in Bergen, we landed on the same pier happy that we had chosen this way of spending the day. I have been on a cruise from Bergen via Byfjorden, under the Nordhordland Bridge, Osterfjorden and Mostraumen to Modalen and back to Bergen. The trip went mostly at 10 knots which is just perfect for seeing life at sea and nice nature all the way. Mostraumen is in itself a great experience. The captain ensured that safety on board is taken care of in every way.D of Alle.Vi received good information about what we see and experience. Good service and all in all a wonderful trip. Can be recommended.

We thank you for a wonderful trip, the captain was very nice and delivered a fantastic trip to Bjekkjarvik guest house where we ate a fantastic lunch. I recommend everyone such a trip if you want peace and quiet in a great boat.
